Please help support the rebuilding of my childhood school that was lost in a fire last summer, and provide financial assistance to poor students in the farming town of Noontunprachabumrung, where my grandmother lives.
The Amnat Charoen School, where I studied as a child, was one of the best in the province where I grew up in Northeast Thailand. The school focused on the potential of individual students – not just in academics, but in their development as ‘good citizens’ of the community.
The building itself had been in use for over 40 years until last June when it caught on fire. Unfortunately, with high winds on the day of the fire, the entire building was engulfed in flames, along with all educational documents, school supplies, and furniture. Currently students are being taught at neighboring schools until ACS can be rebuilt.
The funds raised will be used to help rebuild so that the students of the area will be able to attend their own school again.
Additionally, we will provide financial assistance to poor students in the farming town of Noontunprachabumrung, where my grandmother lives.
Above are pictures of me as a student and the unfortunate fire.
