AMI Education Fund

AMI Education Fund

From Ohene Anochie

I'm raising these funds to support education projects in rural communities. I grew up in a small community in the Ashanti region of Ghana, and I know what students in such communities go through in education.

More Info

I grew up in a small community in Ghana, Ashanti region. In my part of the world, living or growing from rural communities is hugely disadvantaged, especially in education and technology. For this reason, I have initiated AMI Education Fund to raise money to support education, schools, and the needy within rural communities.

Any funds raised will be used to facilitate an IT laboratory to train in some selected schools in the Volta region and Ashanti region respectively through AMI Technolgy for Rural Development (ATRD) project to train students and youth in information technology. The youth and schools in the urban areas will not be left out, I have initiated AMI International Conference (AIC) to give career mentorship and guidance in basic and secondary schools as well.

It is my dream that each and every individual will be given equal opportunity, it doesn't matter where the person is coming from to encourage human development.

The money realized from this crowdfunding will be used to sponsor the conference by paying for renting equipment, speakers, and items for donation. The rest of the funds will be used to settle the expenses of the IT facility in the selected community schools which include the structure for the facility, laptop computers, wi-fi installation, and caretakers.
