More Info

We’ve taken focus on the American bald eagle nest that is located in Pembroke Pines, Florida. We had a naming contest for the Male & Female Eagles . The Mom is Joy & Dad is Pride and they have had many little Eaglets over the years . This season we had two Babies and there names are Honor & Glory and we think they are both Females .

Our mission is to raise enough funds by August 2014 to purchase and install a live eagle cam above the eagle’s nest.

"If enough funding can be obtained to make this project happen, then the Non-Profit American Eagle Foundation is very interested in being the primary partner and coordinator for the South Florida Eagle Nest Cam Project."

Why September 2014 you might ask? The eagle’s come back to their nesting area .

By federal law, the tree can not be touched or altered while they are nesting. Because of this, it’s our goal to raise enough funds to have the live eagle cam installed while the eagle’s are not using it.

We are need to raise $25,000 to fund this project from nature lovers like you!

We understand that it will take a lot of donations, so we ask that you please share this website and our Facebook page .

Our mission at South Florida Pine Eagle Nest, Inc. is to raise awareness and funds for the American Bald Eagles that have nested in Pembroke Pines.

We are focusing our efforts through this website and social media outlets in hopes to bring about enough funding to install an adjustable high powered high definition camera above the eagle’s nest. This camera will serve as a live eagle cam to help further studies of American Bald Eagles.

By helping monitor the eagles and their nest, researchers can gather information to help enhance their understanding of these beautiful birds that we share our world with.

Another goal of South Florida Pine Eagle Nest is to get the topic of eagle conservation into the school systems.

Through creating an interactive, educational, and fun website, we hope to share the photos and live eagle cam with students and children alike to help peak their interests.

This important research will also be documented and serve as a way for students to preform studies and research projects of their own.

By creating interest for eagle conservation in the school systems, we hope to bring awareness and funding to all eagle conservation and re-population.

Our goal is to get as many people involved as possible. The more people involved, the stronger our movement will become and the more help, support, and funding can be raised and dedicated to these very deserving birds.

None of this is possible without people like you. Please spread the word and keep sharing the important message we are attempting to spread.
