The Annual Fund is a yearly fundraising appeal to bridge the school’s resource needs and State/County revenue. State/County revenue alone cannot fund the entire cost associated with any charter public school, since charter school operating budgets bear the burden of facilities expenses (rent/maintenance/repairs/remodeling/construction) whereas traditional public schools are provided a separate “capital budget” for these expenses. Amana relies on gifts to The Annual Fund to raise a portion of the additional funds needed to sustain the school’s commitment to providing each student with the highest quality education possible. This year’s Annual Fund will be focused on refreshing Technology resources for all grades, including computers and LCD projectors.
