Join us in helping fathers keep families together at our "Fatherhood Is Leadership" Conference, focusing on the most pressing topics that affect Indian Country today.
The Native American Fatherhood & Families Association (NAFFA) is an Arizona based non-profit 501(C)(3) organization founded in 2002. We began with the purpose of strengthening Native American families through responsible fatherhood and have significantly expanded our curriculum. NAFFA has served over 16,000 fathers and mothers and works with 170+ tribes.
NAFFA believes that Native Americans are a great people and that they come from greatness - a great heritage, history and culture. At times we have to be reminded of this, but when we take hold of those principles of greatness, we harness the power of change. Greatness must start and be taught and cultivated in the home! The following are our guiding principles:
Mission: To strengthen families by responsibly involving fathers in the lives of their children, families and communities and by partnering with mothers to provide happy and safe families.
Philosophy: The family is at the heart of the Native American cultures. There is no other work more important than fatherhood and motherhood.
Vision: Native American Fathers and Mothers as models of healthy parenting for happy and safe families everywhere.
