I am bicycle fundraising for my cousin's 5 year old daughter Ainsley who is battling with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). She is the glue that holds their family together.
I have two ridin buddies now, Steph and Ryan. And keep meeting more and more fabulous people, so much support and cheering from all arounnd. This is me in Astoria Oregon with Ramsey, brynn, Steph, Ryan, Meredith and Jason!
My name is Scott Skinner. I have always drempt of riding the pacific coast on my bicycle, camping under the stars and seeing the beautiful nature of the west coast. I am now taking a month of my life to do so. This trip is dedicated to my cousins 5 year old daughter who is battling cancer. Ainsley Smedley was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia one year ago and is less than half way through her treatment. Follow her journey here: http://thegluethatholdsus.blogspot.com/ .Gratitude and love for life has inspired me to ride on her behalf. You may show your support by pledging for parts of the 1200 mile trip from Vancouver BC to San Fransisco. Please donate to the cause and be a part of Ainsley's army.
She's almost road ready! Its been such a good learning experience building this bike from the bottom up, or from the front to back, or side to side....??? Either way, its been swell and I've received so much help from local bike shops and bike gurus for it to go overlooked. Their knowledge and resources have been fantastic. Lets hope she makes it!!!
