Adopt a Grandparent: Help Ukrainian Seniors find new homes

Imagine your elderly mom, grandma, or grandpa suddenly left without everything they know, everything that sustains them: their home, neighborhood, all their comfort things—and without you. They are homeless, at the mercy of strangers who are also struggling for resources without support from social programs, systems that are failing in a wartorn country.  We met hundreds of those elders while serving refugees in Ukraine

Adopt a Grandparent Project secures housing for elderly (65+) women and men inside Ukraine:  internally displaced who are homeless due to war and have no family who can help them. 

We help those who have been evacuated from bombshells and now sleeping in shelters on floor mattresses and eating at charity kitchens in city centers for months. Their pensions aren't big enough to pay for rent, medication, and food. 

We use 100% of the funds we collect to find and rent affordable homes/apartments/rooms, match the roommates, help the elderly resettle, and then find permanent sponsors and/or official grants for continued support.
