The American Construction Inspectors Association (ACIA), established in 1954 and incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1959, is an organization of individuals in the construction industry who are dedicated to improving the quality of construction inspection. Here at ACIA, we believe success is achieved through continued education and innovation in our field through dedication to leadership and beyond.
ACIA brings together knowledge as a collective to educate and broaden individual’s potential and success. ACIA works side by side with agencies such as the United States Navy, various City and County governments in California and Nevada, Cal-OES, the California DSA, and OSHPD, to increase the quality of inspection. ACIA is a group of skilled and knowledgeable construction specialists who are members and leaders of professional teams helping to insure life safety, property security, and the client's right to full measure for their investments.
ACIA deems our integrity as important as the skills, knowledge, experience, and judgment which our members employ. We dedicate ourselves to the professional level of service needed to establish and maintain a set standard of quality which will advance, protect, and improve the construction industry.
We strive to assure the public of the ability and veracity of our membership by establishing and maintaining prescribed standards of qualifications. ACIA strives to advance the science and art of construction inspection for the safety, health, and living standards of the public. We stay active for our members, for the industry, and for the public good, to continue improving standards and uniform enforcement of health and safety regulations.
