About Time Tour - 2017

This is a week-long journey of four people who are out to build an international network of skeptics and promote ways of standing up for science, as well as taking a stand against fake news, pseudoscience, anti-science and quackery. The tour will include several stops in Poland, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia and Hungary and will happen after the 17th European Skeptics Congress in Wroclaw, Poland, where two of us will be among the speakers.

Who's involved?

Susan Gerbic (US) - AKA The Wikipediatrician, founder and leader of the international project 'Guerrilla Skepticism on Wikipedia'

Mark Edward (US) - Psychic expert and mentalist

Andras G Pinter (Hungary/UK) - Vice President of the Hungarian Skeptic Society and co-host/producer of The European Skeptics Podcast

Liubomir Baburov (Bulgaria) - Founder of the Bulgarian organisation called 'Ratio' and chief organiser of the event in Sofia, bearing the same title.

2nd or 3rd October: Budapest, Hungary

We will be posting live, recording video and audio for release on Skepticality and The European Skeptics Podcast. We'll also be giving talks and attending panel discussions along the way. Susan will be writing up our adventures for Skeptical Inquirer. In other words, this will be a working European Skeptic Tour by all four of us.

Some of the tour is paid for by the various skeptic groups hosting and sponsoring us, but not all of it. We are looking for help financially to cover the car rental, gas, food, some housing and so on things that will occur. Otherwise we will just have to pay out of our pockets. If you would like to help, please contribute to our cause.
