We are raising funds for our beloved sister, Hilda. She is confined to a wheelchair due to muscular dystrophy that she has battled her entire life. She is in desperate need of a new, wheelchair-accessible van.

Hilda Bih Muluh is a journalist and broadcaster who has worked for close to fifteen years in her native country, Cameroon. At a young age, she was discovered to have a condition later diagnosed as Muscular Dystrophy. Today, she uses a wheelchair and credits the Gospel of Jesus Christ with saving and giving her a true sense of worth in a culture that regards persons living with a disability differently. Her passion to share this Good News of hope with others led her to start The Esther Project Cameroon in 2014, to encourage the most vulnerable to live out their God-given potential. Hilda is a mouth painter, singer, and writer, using her voice to bless and spur others into finding their purpose.
Hilda Bih is a 2014 Mandela Washington Fellow who along with others has carried out numerous projects in her country and beyond, training young persons in community work and on communication skills. She currently lives in Bladensburg, MD, USA.
Hilda’s MD has now developed to the point that she is mostly dependent on others for movement and other basic needs. A wheelchair-accessible van would be a great blessing to her and her family members who have had to carry her into a car at times in order for her to go out. We are looking to raise $30,000 towards a new, wheelchair-accessible van. All of the funds will go directly to Hilda, Black and Blurred will handle none of it and they will be used to purchase a van.
Brandon and Daren had the pleasure of co-laboring with Hilda in church community as pastor and worship leader, respectively. Hilda has been a gigantic blessing to both of and we are happy to care for her in the same way that the Lord has cared for us through His daughter Hilda.
