Maggie needs your help in getting a down payment for a home with a yard. By raising $6000 towards a larger down payment, the mortgage payment will be affordable enough for me to provide a suitable home for Maggie.
Maggie is an 8 year old Border Collie. I have been her dog-sitter for almost 5 years. Maggie and I have always had a special bond since the day we met. It is so evident that even her owner makes repeated comments about it. Her owner, a friend of mine, recently gave birth to a child. This was unexpected and not planned. Maggie's world has been completely changed by the new addition. She's also experienced the loss of her two canine companions. One of her fellow housemates passed away several months ago. The other had to be re-homed because he was not accepting of the new baby. Since then, Maggie has been very depressed and out of character. We noticed a difference when my friend went on vacation and I stayed with Maggie. She was lively, active, and happy. My friend would like for me to adopt Maggie because she thinks it would be in her best interest and also allow her to receive the attention that she deserves and is accustomed to getting. There is a slight snag. I do not own the place that I currently call home and do not have a yard nor appropriate fencing to keep Maggie. She is currently still with my friend until I can make the appropriate arrangements for Maggie to be re-homed with me. I'm asking for your help in acquiring the funds to make a down payment on a home and make the necessary improvements, such as fencing, for a house to be the proper environment for a dog.
