Students at Hawaiian Mission Academy travel locally to neighboring islands in addition to traveling to the mainland and abroad on community service and mission trips. The funds support the supplies and travel costs
We've hit 50% of our goal! Thank you for your support and prayers!
At Hawaiian Mission Academy the student leaders in the Missions class have tasked themselves with the developing both local and international community service opportunities. In the 2017/2018 school year they visited the nearby island of Moloka'i and helped to clean up the school/church and visited locals in an elderly community, singing to them and praying with them. During spring break of 2018 they traveled to an aboriginal village in Taiwan (this was the first trip of its kind and entirely student created and student led) where they conducted VBS and helped locals with farming and cleaning.
Many of the students involved in these endeavors are in difficult financial situations and so are petitioning for as much support as possible from family, friends, and you. All donations will go towards reducing the cost charged to the students. Donations will go towards transportation, accommodation, food, and other necessary supplies for the trip.
The student leaders from the HMA Missions class are very appreciative of your time and interest in supporting their endeavor.
