If there was anything that ever made me happier in life than today, it was the day my boyfriend called me on phone to tell me that we were going to cruise the Galapagos on the Galapagos legend. I became extremely excited because it was sure going to be an amazing experience especially having to behold the rich natural treasures of Quito, the lovely sea life of San Cristobal and the amazing sight of blue-footed tropic birds and lots of them I used to see on my television.

Though it was scheduled to be a 7-day vacation but I knew that each moment there would be a memorable one for me. Our vacation began as soon as we arrived Quito, where we were first taken after we were picked up from the airport by the local guides. We were logged seamlessly in one of the magnificent hotels in the heart of Quito, called the Mercure Alamede, located near La Floresta and Guapulo. In the evening I and my boyfriend were served a buffet meal which I personally enjoyed so much.

The next morning, I and my boyfriend were taken by the local guides to visit the inside treasures of the Quito area which was second on our list. I and my boyfriend visited such places like the Independence Square, San Francisco plaza Church and the spot which I loved to see most and that was the place they called the middle of the world, the Ecuador tower, at where the Earth stands at zero latitude.

Next on our list was a tour to Baltra, from where we were scheduled to visit the Galapagos Islands. I and my boyfriend took our time to snap lovely pictures of the Baltra community because it was going to be a 3-day night cruise to the Galapagos Island.  On the first night, I and my boyfriend visited the Bartolome Island; I personally enjoyed the sea life, the fresh waters and the smokeling archipelago that all lies in the treasure base of the Bartolome Island.    On the second night in our 3-day cruise to the Galapagos legend, I and my boyfriend visited the beautiful city of South plaza, it was amazing to see the hybrid iguana, the Nazca, the blue-footed boobies together with other tropic birds. I and my boyfriend snapped lovely pictures of these natures’ gift to the South plaza area. On the third night, I and my boyfriend visited the North Seymour right there in Galapagos legend. There I enjoyed the sight of the blue-footed boobies, the sea lions, the land iguana alongside the swallow tailed gulls.. As we went further, we also took our time to visit the San Cristobal Island. There in the Island, we had the chance to see various species of the three boobies, including the red, blue and Nazca boobies. Finally we moved to the place they called the Giant Tortoise Reserve where I and my boyfrienf learnt a lot about the tortoise population in the archipelago. There, we took some lovely pictures of the magnificent statue of the giant tortoise.

Our visit to the giant tortoise reserve actually marked the end of our 3-days night cruise to the Galapagos legend, it was really an amazing experience for I and my boyfriend. After the 3-days night cruise, we set on our journey back to Hong kong from Guayaquil airport. Even though I and my boyfriend could not visit many other places we would have loved to visit but it made us happier than we were before we embarked on the journey. Surely someday, I and my boyfriend will have more opportunity to visit more places in Galapagos legend in future.
