Zoe Fassler, a 4th year Theatre major is directing this hilarious romp in cold war middle America this fall. The play follows five "widows" at their annual quiche breakfast for the Susan B. Anthony Society for the Sisters of Gertrude Stein. This play is an interactive look into the American experience at this time: with an important critique of America today.
By donating to this campaign, you are helping Zoe and her crack production team put on a play that currently has no funding! We need your help!
A little bit about the team:
Zoe Fassler is a 4th year Theatre major at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and is directing this production of 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche. She is a comedienne, director, and writer, and she cannot wait to share this show with the Cal Poly community!
Alex Holmes is a 4th year Theatre major at Cal Poly also and is stage managing this production. She is a writer on the Nightcap, Cal Poly's sketch comedy team, and she is excited to collaborate with Zoe on this zany project.
Matt Franaszek is the ASM for this production. You may not remember him as the guy pushing the gurney in “the Tempest” last spring. He enjoys the technical and collaborative aspects of theatre and is excited to work with this group!
Christa Santos is so egg-cited to be working on this production with her fellow classmates! She is a 4th-year Theatre Major focusing on scenic design and carpentry. Her design for 5 Lesbians incorporates some fun special effects and your contributions will help bring them to life! Thanks for your support!
Leah Procita is a third year Theatre Major, interested in historical costuming. In her free time she enjoys long hours of straining her eyes sewing, romantic microwave meals between projects, and making costumes on a budget. She would greatly prefer less of that last one, though, so please donate—she’ll love you for it and so will the actors who have much nicer costumes because of it!
Ethan Kusters is a senior Computer Science major (Theatre Arts minor) who loves to live at the intersection of technology and storytelling. He is beyond excited to be the lighting designer for the show.
