We are just under 4 weeks out from production and it's a whirlwind to get this project together. I can't wait to share images with everyone of progress and the pre-production mayhem. Attached here however is a brainstorm session sketch of the uterus costume.

More Info

The visual essay is an important part of my education at the American Film Institute. It gives the cinematography fellows a chance to learn how to shoot with 35mm film.

It is said that most visual essays stay on graduates websites for years.

The story is a whacky comedic absurdist one.Taylor, a butch lesbian often at odds with her body, comes face to face with her Uterus when it decides to excavate itself from her body one day at a doctor's office. Taylor tries to wrangle the uterus but it hits her on the head with her ovary and scurries off. Taylor later finds the uterus on a date with a man. Taylor's wants and the uterus' wants are opposing, but Taylor takes control in the end and the Uterus begrudgingly follows suit.
