I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer during the pandemic and endured six grueling months of treatments, including a misjudged chemo regimen that nearly ended my life. Following months of radiation and surgery, I am still on the long road to recovery. During this ordeal, I lost my mother to COVID and after her funeral I was hospitalized with COVID. I was unable to work during this time and did not have health benefits.
Despite these hardships, I am profoundly grateful to be alive to share my story. With both parents now gone, I have no one else to turn to, but I am determined to rebuild my life. I am blessed with two beautiful boys whom I strive to make proud every day.
Asking strangers for help is a new and humbling experience for me, but I believe that kind people still exist in the world. Your generous donations will help cover my overwhelming medical bills and allow me to return to school, release the hold the university has on my account and finish my degree.
