About Our Campaign

This is a community walk for the preservation of Indigenous Cultural Consciousness and Circles for Chican@/Xicano peoples in Southern California area who are trying to maintain cultural education and traditional knowledge within families and community circles.  The elders of the circle have given their time for over 30+ years without compensation always honoring and sharing traditional indigenous cultural ways such as songs, music, art, and dance in order for young people and whole families to reconnect to their culture and honor themselves, their family --thereby healing and transforming communities.

The funds donated go to support these sacred circles and for the day-to-day logistics to make this happen.

We thank you for your support!  It is very much appreciated!
