Raising funds to defray the operating costs and stipends associated with the annual Ancient Order of Hibernians Gaelic Mass (Sean O'Riada Mass) held each March in Virginia in honor of St. Patrick.

Each year the Col. John Fitzgerald Division of the Ancient Order of Hibernians (VA Division #1) organizes and hosts a Gaelic Mass in honor of St. Patrick, ahead of St. Patrick's Day. The liturgy used is the beautiful Sean O'Riada Mass as composed and arranged by the late great Mr. O'Riada himself. A Gaelic-speaking priest celebrates the Mass, accompanied by singers, harpist, and organist, and many AOH brethren and Ladies AOH members from across Virginia and the country attend.

Additionally, the Mass has been livestreamed since 2021 allowing hundreds of people around the world to participate.

The Mass has certain annual fixed operating costs (use of church, stipends for priest & musicians, printing of programs, etc.). To defray these costs, to raise funds for non-recurring capital expenses such as new missals, and to support the overall work of the AOH, the Col. John Fitzgerald Division has set up this fundraiser to allow anyone to contribute.

Please feel free to leave a note with your donation indicating if it is in memoriam of anyone in particular or for any special causes.
