Thanks to a generous private foundation, the CSO has received a $40,000 matching challenge grant to support our Musicians in Schools & Young People's Concert initiatives. All new & increased donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar! 

This is an exciting opportunity to help local children through the power of music, and double the impact of your gift. 

Thanks to support from our community last year:

• CSO musicians presented 112 interactive performances at 73 schools in the Tri-County area, about 50% of which are Title I 

• Musicians in Schools reached 15,184 students, at no cost to the parents or classrooms

• The CSO partnered with Carnegie Hall's Link Up program to provide teachers with free curriculum and immersive arts education workshops

• More than 2,000 children were able to sing and dance alongside the orchestra at our Young People's Concerts

• and more

Last year, 86% of the CSO’s operating budget was spent on mission-related activities, while achieving a balanced budget for the ninth consecutive year. Help us reach an industry-leading tenth year!
