I'm raising money to help my son get a vehicle. So that he may better his schooling and his current job. This was all taken from him when someone set his truck on fire.
On Sunday August 18, 2019 around 3 a.m. someone set my 16 year old son's truck on fire. By the time firemen were able to put the fire out it was a complete loss. Dawson Riling was only a few weeks away from being able to drive, I saved up to get him this truck for his birthday. It was nothing spectacular but it was his first vehicle and he was working hard at his job to save and fix it up. We just got the plates and title done but unfortunately couldn't afford the insurance just yet and since he couldn't yet drive it we decided to wait until he had enough saved up. We just got the plates and title done but unfortunately couldn't afford the insurance just yet and since he couldn't yet drive it we decided to wait until he had enough saved up. Being a single mom with a low income job, I just have no means of helping him again.Dawson is a great kid, he works very hard and did not deserve this. Dawson is the kind of kid who goes out of his way to shake the hand and thank a veteran, hold the door for a lady, carry groceries for the elderly, I've seen it many times. I would love for Dawson to once again have a vehicle, to be able to commute back and fourth to school and work. I know it don't sound like an immediate need for a teenager, but him having a vehicle right now will make the difference in him being able to attend a trade school and bettering his current job.
