Hello, I’m Jamie, Kevin’s mother. He is an adorable 12 year old boy that was diagnosed with a rare disease that has changed his life this past 6 months. Unfortunately, due to the lack of doctors catching it sooner, it has spread more than we could imagine and as a result he has lost 100% of his hearing in his right ear. He already had 2 surgeries this year and is expected to have 2-3 more within the next 12 months. Medical insurance is not covering everything and I had to quit my full time job at this time. Please help with whatever you may think is possible. Kevin is a 12 year old boy that is strong in his Catholic faith. He did wrestle, which was his passion, but will not be able to anymore. He is in the Boyscouts at this time and we hope to keep that going. My babies life has been turned upside down and I just need to do all I can to get him back to a normal.
