Don't forget to submit your project by June 1st so we can connect your work with activists and the broader public.
Our Occupy Projects are innovative and courageous. Each time we publish, we keep growing. We printed 10,000 copies of Issue 2, which were distributed at actions, protests, meetings, assemblies and events around NYC.
The Occupy Project List NYC informs people about your projects and gives them the means to get involved in actions to defend our communities and our future.
Submit your projects now to connect with allies across the city, connect with resources and draw new people to participate in your activities.
Anyone organizing a project with OWS allies and Working Gorups, please fill out our online form.
Please only submit projects you are actively working on. We do not accept proposals.
If you have questions or need help with the form, please contact: projects@occupywallstreet.net or call 646.481.3038. If you have limited Internet access, please call and we will work with you to submit your project over the phone.
Knowledge is power. Shared knowledge is collective power.

Dear Friends, Supporters and Allies,
The Project List is one response to the question: "What is OWS doing these days?" The answer is more and more all the time as our movement grows.
In addition to helping us all know more about 'what the heck is going on,' this participatory research will improve equal access to information, reduce hierarchy, and help uncover the information and resource flows underlying our work. Our report and data analysis will be published by the end of the summer.
1. Submit a project. That is the single most important thing you can do to support the Project List. Occupy Wall Street and the Occupy movement here in NYC is full of creative and visionary projects and we want to get the word out about them as well as help new folks plug in.
2. Promote the Project List to your friends and family, on social media and help us hand out copies.
3. Donate your time: One of our biggest challenges every issue is getting Project Lists into the streets and into people’s hands. We have a list of neighborhood GAs, unions, community groups, cafes and bookstores that would like copies. Please email projects@occupywallstreet.net if you would be interested in joining the distribution team.
4. Donate Funds: While the design, data visualization and editorial teams are entirely volunteer, we need funds for our print edition. We are working on a website to display each project in all its glory but the print edition is invaluable as an outreach tool. We need to raise funds for Issue 3 and a smidge left over from our last campaign for Issue 2 & 3.
If every project listed in the Project List gave $10, we would be half way to our goal. We hope you can give something towards our printing costs!
Knowledge is power. Shared knowledge is collective power.

The NYC Occupy Project List
The Project List is one response to the question: "What is OWS doing these days?" The answer is more and more all the time as our movement grows.
We plan to begin distributing Issue #3 in early June. We plan to print 10,000 copies and distribute it to NYC metro area Occupies and neighborhoods as well as at major transportation hubs.
THE NEXT ISSUE WILL NOT HAPPEN WITHOUT FUNDING. We need your support to promote your projects! We survive or perish based on small contributions from lots of people! PLEASE CONTRIBUTE AND GET YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO CONTRIBUTE. $5 from 400 people will make the next issue happen.
In addition to helping us all know more about 'what the heck is going on,' this participatory research will improve equal access to information, reduce hierarchy, and help uncover overlapping projects.
We can also better understand our movement by sharing knowledge about who we are working with outside of OWS. Please let Tech Ops know your thoughts and feelings about this initiative!
Knowledge is power. Shared knowledge is collective power.
