UCP of Eastern Connecticut, Inc. is a non-profit organization with the mission is to advance the independence and full citizenship of people with disabilities.  UCP is looking for sponsors for our Golf Tournament on May 7th at Stonington County Club to support the Disability Support Program. 

What Services Does the Disability Support Program Provide?

1.) Case management, 2.) Information and referral, 3.) Financial assistance, 4.) A support/recreation group for people with physical disabitliies, 5.) Volunteer coordination, 6.) The Tech Tot Toy Library for children with disabilities to help them develop vital skills to become independent adults 

What makes UCP's Disability Support Program Important? Did you know...

In 2009, the State of Connecticut "retired" 40 case workers from the Department of Developmental Services (DDS), leaving hundreds of children with disabilities without case management services.  The Disability Support Program is here to help!

To get services from DDS you have to have an intellectual disability, yet there are hundreds of people with disabilities in Connecticut who do not have an intellectual disability.  These individuals are left without services through DDS.  The Disability Support Program is here to help!

The Disability Support Program serves people with ALL disabilities, not just Cerebral Palsy.  Services are provided free of charge from birth through senior citizens.
