I know it seems us Cogan's are always trying to raise money for a cause, but this one has really hit home since my brother was diagnosed with the neurological disease Friedrich's Ataxia (FA). The $ raised will benefit the FA Research Alliance. An organization that has already given Pat a large grant to purchase the recumbent bike (three wheels) that he will use on the 100 mile ride. Pat has been training hard and it is inspiring to everyone to see how committed he is to this goal.  Give if you can. Or instead, send some "go-get'em" thoughts to Pat!
