Thank you so much for the incredible outpouring of support you have shown us this past week. As you can see, we have surpassed our goal, and words truly cannot describe our unbelievable gratitude and appreciation. We are so thankful to our wonderful family, friends, co-workers, friends-of-friends, and kind-hearted strangers who have displayed such immense generosity. We cannot thank you enough.

We have also been receiving emails to helpthecarrollfam@gmail.com. Despite the email address, we have been using the email to try to coordinate donations not only for Sean and Shana, but for families that we know who are similarly in need. We have been so blessed to have received so much traffic to our site that we have been using this as an opportunity to help others who have been devastated in the Long Beach area. So please keep sending us your emails.

Our brother (Sean), his wife (Shana), and their two young children lived in Long Beach, New York until Hurricane Sandy destroyed everything (except a few valuable possessions) and they do not have flood insurance. Their entire community and their church are wrecked. They have lived modestly and have worked so hard and this is just a devastating defeat. They are two incredibly amazing people and we love them and their boys dearly. We are hoping that you can find it in your heart to imagine the struggle that they are going through to rebuild their lives and make a donation, no matter how small.
