June 2012 I traveled to Port au Prince, Haiti just 2 days after my high school graduation to volunteer in a medical clinic put on by a Sansum Urgent Care physician. For nine days I was able to be apart of the life and family of the Haitian people that I met. I had such an incredible experience in Port au Prince and dreamed of the next opportunity that I would be able to return. That Dream of mine will be fulfilled this March when I will return for an 8 day trip during my Spring Break. Unfortunately with this trip it comes as an unexpected and large financial drain. But it is completely worth it.

Thank you everyone who is helping support my trip, through either making donations or prayer. I leave LAX Friday night on a redeye to Fort Lauderdale arrive Saturday morning and then fly to Port au Prince. I will return home Saturday the 30, just in time to celebrate Easter at my church and with my family.

A miracle will occur this Sunday at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, I will be presented with a donation from the church which will fulfill my fundraiser goal! The donations don't need to stop there. The additional donations will be used towards paying for any lab procedures or adiitional care that we at the clinic won't be able to treat.
