From changing laws to changing minds, GPI news stories are responsible for igniting social change around the world.
In June 2012 a GPI story from Kashmir prompted the donation of hospital equipment to a chidlren's hospital where infants were dying every week. In 2010, lawmakers in Nepal used a corageous GPI news story as the basis for a new law criminalizing discrimination.
