More Info

We had the opportunity, in 2018, to visit this intriguing island nation. From the historic center of Havana, to the lush countryside of places like Viñales, Cuba is fascinating country. The Cuban people are beautiful, diverse, friendly, and determined. While as visitors we reveled in the beauty, culture and music, we also witnessed the struggle. Just ninety miles off the shores of Florida, this tiny nation has survived now for over 50 years under the restraints of a full-scale economic embargo that results in extreme austerity. Those who suffer most are the people of Cuba - people like Geosvanis and his family who we stayed with during our visit there.

Through the voices of both Americans and Cubans, our friend Mirella's film offers a beautifully portrayed and insightful exploration into this nation -its people and culture, as well as its struggles. Join us in making a donation, to help make this film a reality. Thank you!
