The Upsilon Kappa Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity (AEPi) at the University of Connecticut has a proud history of working to help nonprofit organizations. Our chapter is nationally recognized and is the most acclaimed chapter in the greater New England Region. Five years ago we started an annual philanthropy, and in that short time we have become the largest philanthropic chapter of any Alpha Epsilon Pi Chapter. Over the past 5 years we have raised a total of 25,000 dollars; however, this year we have the ambitious goal of raising $3,000.
This year we will raise money to benefit Habitat for Humanity International (Look up region we fall under) and Relentless Against Cancer, A non-profit organization dedicated commited to raising funds for cancer research. The money raised will be donated towards the charity of the donor’s choosing.
Our request to you is for a monetary contribution that will be recognized during several fundraising events that AEPi at UConn will sponsor in order to meet our overall goal. Our organization, The AEPi Foundation, is a non-profit organization, and maintains a 501(c) 3 status. Our main event is going to be a campus wide chicken-nugget eating contest, which has become a signature philanthropic event for the University of Connecticut.
