About Me

New member of the CrossFit Football team and want to do my part in this cause. I have hosted several workout fundraisers with CrossFit Dupont, and wanted to do one last one! The gym will be closing Nov. 30th and we will be hosting the Wade's Army workout in line with CrossFit Football's date of 11-12-12 to support Wade's Wings. A foundation to remember Wade DeBruin. Wade passed away at the age of 2 from Neuroblastoma, an aggressive form of cancer growing in the nerve tissue.

Thank you for visiting Wade's Wings!

Wade Scott DeBruin (Wadie Pie!), a true angel on earth, inspired all of us with his infectious smile and beautiful spirit.  In his memory, Wade's Wings is the organizational vehicle we have created to raise money and awareness to help create treatment options for children with Neuroblastoma.  We are all volunteers and no one is compensated for this work.

Neuroblastoma is a pediatric cancer that is extraordinarily deadly.  After enduring the most intense chemotherapy regimen given to any human beings, these infants and toddlers - these children - end up relapsing more often than not.

Once this disease comes back there is no cure.

The treatment options currently available to these children - once they do relapse -  is often much too toxic for their bodies to handle after what they had to endure during upfront (induction) therapy.  As a result they spend more time trying to simply recover from these therapies so they can receive even more treatment than they spend actually LIVING life.

We aim to achieve our mission through raising money and funding relevant research and clinical trials with doctors and scientists who have the same beliefs, supporting Neuroblastoma research and support programs.

Check or Cash Donations

We understand that not everyone is comfortable with online donations. So, we have set up a PO Box to handle offline donations. It may take longer to process your check as it will be forwarded to the nonprofit bank account after we receive it.  Thank you for your patience and willingness to contribute.
