About The Beverly Sports Park Fund

With the help of a $500,000 grant funded through the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs, Beverly is embarking on an ambitious campaign to raise the funds necessary to build a new sports park on the high school campus. The new park will improve access to facilities for all of Beverly High School’s sports teams and, because part of the park will belong to the city, for the community’s youth and adult sports leagues as well.

Phase One of the Beverly Sports Park Project - the installation of the synthetic turf playing surface inside the existing track at Beverly High School is now underway and will be completed by the end of November 2011.
