Let's let Tiff explain

I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in 2002 when i was just 29. I went through very aggressive chemo for about 1 year and a 6 week daily radiation regimen.

I was clear for four years and then it came back as breast cancer in my liver in 2006. Now I am on doxil and there is a chemo shortage. Coincidentally, we knew someone who was on Doxil and bought hers from Israel. She went off the drug and now i am buying her last 9 viles. Obviously insurance doesn't cover something not made here so the situation is very expensive. Thats only enough for 3 more treatments but its 3 MORE treatments i will now have! I've been on 8 different chemos since 2002 and doxil is the ONLY drug that has worked for me so I want it. I need it! I WAS on the priority list from the last brief shortage but I was only allotted 7. I finished them all. Now new people have to get on the priority list that have been waiting for theirs. Thats why i'm in this dilemma....I dont know when it will be available again and I want to be prepared for buying morewhen i have to.. (In addition to the 9 viles mentioned above) 

In March of this year it will mark my 10 year struggle and im happy & doing well & i want it to stay that way!

It's $5000 for the 9 available viles and Tiff needs 3 viles per treatment. Noone has any idea when this shortage problem will be resolved so let's make sure Tiff has enough funds for future necessary treatments! They are taking advantage and they are raising the prices knowing they are in need...so the next time we buy it will be double the price! This is ongoing--please help Tiff get the Doxil she needs!!! The goal is $60,000 but we can do better than that!
