About
This holiday season, we're supporting relief efforts for Hurricane Sandy in New Jersey by celebrating New Jersey culture and fundraising to recover that great New Jersey culture.
All funds raised will be donated to the Hurrican Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund, chaired by New Jersey First Lady Mary Pat Christie: https://sandynjrelieffund.org/index.html
We'll add the total to the following Fundly campaign, based out of San Francisco: http://fundly.com/very-jersey-christmas-sf
The idea behind "A Very Jersey Christmas" comes from New Jersey native Pat Reily, a communications strategist with PR & Company in San Francisco. For those of you that know Kate Derrick, Kate worked for Pat's firm and was proudly the first person to introduce Pat to the phenomenon known as MTV's "Jersey Shore". Kate wanted to help support Jersey Shore relief efforts from her new hometown of Nashville and recruited Kristin Anderson (a former New Jersey resident) and Lindsey Holden (a college admissions counselor covering the New Jersey region.)
Since many Nashville residents have great sympathy for what many New Jersey residents are experiencing right now, we wanted to support the relief effort and compliment PR & Company's celebration of New Jersey culture.
