Centerville Young Professionals is a committee of PACT (Promoting Appanoose & Centerville Together) made up of nearly 40 members dedicated to seeing our community improve and flourish. Since re-establishing our chapter in 2017, we have evolved from a small group hosting a handful of events each year, to a booming organization focused on benefiting our community and our members through education, volunteerism and community activities. In 2021, CYP has been able to host multiple events including a Spring 5k & cornhole tournament, Disco & Drinks and Painting with Santa, all geared towards raising funds for our annual scholarships. We were able to award $5,000 in scholarships to Appanoose County seniors in 2021, and aim to double that in 2022. Our members also volunteered with the Garden Club, Pancake Day & multiple trash pickups throughout our community this year. Additionally, we invested back in our members with various professional development opportunities and financial literacy classes.
We are aiming to give $10,000 in scholarships to Appanoose County students and need your help to reach our goal! Our various personal donor levels as well as included perks are listed below, but any amount helps. 50% of the donations from this Fundly campaign will go directly to our scholarship fund and the remaining 50% will be used for our various events and community initiatives in 2022.
